Ski Jacket Design

Insulation - Our insulated ski jackets are designed to withstand even the most undesirable winter conditions. Each jacket features a breathable, waterproof outer shell that's guaranteed to keep you both dry and warm for your longest days out on the slopes. Our insulation types include: Thinsulate, Primaloft, Thermolite, Comormax and down.

Shell Type - For riders that ski in warmer climates and don't require thick insulation, our hard and soft shell jackets are specifically designed with you in mind.

• Hard shell jackets are typically made of nylon and treated with a breathable, waterproof or laminate finish in addition to a DWR coating that helps protect the jacket and reduce excess exterior moisture.
• Soft shell jackets offer more stretch and flexibility than hard shell jackets, but are just as breathable, waterproof and windproof.

Defining Features - The fabric we use for of our jackets is a defining feature of the quality you can expect. The quality of our products lie in the details and you'll find that our fabric is specifically designed and treated to meet the needs of every winter weather enthusiast. Stretch fabrics are becoming the go-to choice for many skiers because of the ease of moment, level of comfort and degree of flexibility. • Waterproof, Breathability and Wind Resistance: While all ski jackets can claim to be breathable and waterproof, the extent to which these feats are accomplished lies in the quality of the garment itself. Our jackets are made from outstanding stretch fabric and undergo rigorous treatments including Gore Tex, Entrant Dermizax and other proprietary treatments. The level of waterproofing and breathability can vary between 5,000 mm to 20,000 mm based on the treatment and flexibility of the fabric.
• The Process: Most of our jackets are waterproofed using the steam tape process. Jackets that are fully steam taped represent the highest level of waterproofing, but most skiers require jackets that are critically steam taped—a lesser degree than full steam taping, but still adequately water resistant.
• Hoods, Powder Skirts, Pit Zips and Pockets: Our jackets come equipped with fully detachable and helmet compatible hoods. Powder skirts seal the bottom of the jacket to keep out unwanted snow and wind while pit zips allow for thorough ventilation and added breathability. External and internal pockets allow for safe storage of goggles, cell phones or MP3 players.
