I highly disagree with the previous reviewer. These gloves "ARE" high quality. They are super warm, DURABLE, and really easy to take on and off. I've worn them in -7 degree weather and they kept my hands nice and toasty. These are NOT park or pipe gloves! If you use almost any REAL LEATHER gloves to do grabs on your edges you will end up tearing them. I have used these for 3 seasons, and through out all the board carrying from the car to the lift or from the top of the lift to the top of the mountain (hiking) these have never torn on the palms where they contact the edges. Only a couple stitches around the cinch string have come undone after 3 seasons (150+days) on the hill abusing them. I would bet the other reviewer handles his edges alot (grabs) or just got a lemon pair.

they look cool, but are not made well at all. do not use for snowboarding as the edge of your board will easily slice the wimpy leather when you carry your plank or while grabbing it whislt in the air. My last pair of gloves lasted over 10 years, this pair of Swanys has been up the mountain twice and already they look warn out. They've been warm so far, so I suppose they'd be good gloves if you don't like to touch anything. One of the straps tore off with little force. I'll honestly be suprised if these gloves make it through ONE season. for 130 bux, try a different brand, because these have no quality.
