Customer Reviews

For expert women skiers looking for an advanced all mountain carving tool, the 2010-11 K2 Burnin’ Luv is the perfect ski. The new metal-laminate HybriTech sidewall construction and Speed Rocker in the T:Nine Burnin Luv provide excellent precision and edge grip on hard pack with effortless turn initiation. The addition of the K2/ER S 11.0 TC binding system guarantees the added control and symmetry you’ve come to expect from a high-performance ski.

Speed Rocker-This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers race-ski precision, power and edge-hold.

Bamboo and Paulownia stringers are used to add lightweight strength to the ski cores. These wood species are fast growing and locally sourced making them a better renewable choice than traditional cores.

Integrated Hub Technology-Most precise transmission of power on wider skis Titanal hubs are imbedded into the core of the ski for the most direct transmission of power. The system hubs are functionally wider with a 50mm footprint, which decreases the distance between the binding and the edge of the ski for added performance.
Women's Specific MOD Monic-Although the location for this targeted mass dampening is consistent between our men’s and women’s models, the amount of focused mass is different between the two lines of skis. Through extensive testing with the members of our Alliance team, we have selected the optimal MOD Monic mass for each model to dampen vibrations and provide a smoother ride. The women’s MOD Monic is designed to accent the overall look without sacrificing function.
