Haven't been able to ride them yet, but can't wait. I rode the T1's last year, and loved them. So much so that I thought I'd try the T1DB�s and lose the laces altogether. Here's the deal: light weight, all mountain stiffness, & a vibram sole. Like the T1, the inside boa replaces the cord system. The external boa eliminates the laces. Infinite adjustability. Loosen for a ride up or just chillin�, and crank �em down for a serious run. Appears to be the same reduced footprint as last year, meaning a bigger foot into a smaller package. My old Burtons and Thirty Twos were 11.5�s; the K2s are 11's.

Heating up the insole is an option, though for me probably not necessary. Out of box look, feel, and fit are great. Will do a follow-up.
