Description
Every so often a boat manufacturer comes along with a design that revolutionizes kayaking.
In 1998 people were in awe of the Kinetic. It was a shorter boat which could run a river with ease, and yet its' flat "planing" hull made it astonishingly easy to surf. It also had a big brother (for larger paddlers) called the Godzilla.
In 2001 a boat called the EZ was introduced. Reputed as the EZ-est playboat on the market, it became an instant success, and its' plush, comfortable outfitting was something new to the world of kayaking. (We all remember gluing pads in the antiquated seats, and then shaping them to our body dimensions.) What also made it so popular was that you could run rivers in it. And it also came in different sizes.
And in 2009, that same company has done it again. It's a boat called the Fuse. Very comfortable to start, very playful and of course you can take it on your favorite run, the Fuse is without a doubt the nicest hull design to come along in, well...eight years. Great for aggressive beginners, as well as seasoned boaters who like to play their way down the river, the Fuse does it all! Very well we might add. And once again it comes in different sizes.
Oh yeah, did we mention the name of the company who pioneered these boats? Wave Sport...who else?
